I have worked here for over 10 years and each time I start to write, I get choked up about how I feel to be working here. The residents are just the best and the reason it’s been my favourite job ever. It’s also great having a ‘work family’ which is something I didn’t have previously. I feel very fortunate and blessed to be working in such a good environment surrounded by amazing people. I look forward to coming to work each day.
I have lived here at Martindale Place in an apartment for several years. The residents here are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. We check up on each other with phone calls regularly. That has been especially important over the past few years. The staff are kind, cheerful and caring and go out of their way to meet the needs of the residents. I am so glad I chose to move here.
Working at Martindale Place has been such a positive experience for me. The community here, including both the residents and staff members, create a very welcoming and family-like environment that makes working here feel like so much more than simply a job.
I heard about Martindale from friends at church. I have lived here since 2007. There are a lot of activities to be involved in, it’s safe, and the cost is in line with other similar facilities. I have made many new friends. Everyone who lives here is friendly, and the staff is very helpful.

I have lived here for 8 years. I heard about Martindale from neighbours. As soon as I came here I loved it and the people here are so friendly! I feel like I live with family. I enjoy many activities like exercise class, birthday parties, bible study, hymn sing, movie night.
